Aff At Da Eela - Hand Made Cushion Covers

From this small collection of cotton linen fabric I have been able to make 10 cushion covers. I hand sew these myself here in the Shetland Islands.

The mist and dusk cushions use Jamiesons and Sons Shetland tweed for the backs, there tweed is no longer in production making these extra special one off cushions.

This design was inspired by our local eela competition, when you go off in your peerie (small) boats to see who can catch the most fish. The one time I was in the competition I only caught 1 fish and got the boobie prize haha.
